The London-listed firm used an official Friday press release (pdf) to explain that it has now fulfilled a decade-long dream in launching its mobile-friendly domain at PokerStars.gr under a full iGaming license issued by the nation’s Hellenic Gaming Commission regulator. The operator also disclosed that this authority recently granted a number of other such certifications some two years after legislators passed measures to legitimize the country’s online casino and sportsbetting market and do away with an earlier transitional scheme that had allowed unlicensed sites to offer their wares to local aficionados.
